2019 Lexus NX 300 Standard Features

2019 Lexus NX 300 Standard Features It is not long ago that the car manufacturers recognized that when it comes to upscale vehicles, not the size counts, but the badge on the grid. And so there was a market for ‘ entry level ‘ luxury models that carry the same cachet as their larger siblings, but come with a smaller price tag.

Lexus was relatively late to this trend with its NX compact crossover, but this edgy little utility that shares its basics with the Toyota RAV4 fits well into the bill and carries Lexus ‘ extroverted styling as well as every vehicle in its lineup.

For 2019, the NX will receive a new initial cut for its hybrid variant, while the remainder of the range is transferred unchanged.

The NX 300 uses a 2.0 L turbo four-cylinder engine with 235 hp and 258 lb-ft torque, which is tuned with a six-speed gearbox and standard AWD. The gas-electric hybrid NX 300h combines a 2.5-l four-cylinder engine with an electric motor for a total of 194 PS, which is placed on all four wheels via an infinitely variable gearbox.

With the NX, Lexus is going against cars like the BMW X1, Porsche Macan and Mercedes-Benz GLC, vehicles that are supposed to appeal to car drivers who appreciate Germany’s obsession with highway-friendly handling. To meet these criteria, Lexus offers the NX 300 in an F Sport Series 3 trim that includes an adaptive variable suspension that comes with optics upgrades that go with smaller Series 1 and series 2 packages.

Basic kit in the NX 300 includes subtleties such as 17-inch wheels, 8.0-inch infotainment display, NuLuxe seat cushions, heated front seats and led headlights.

A premium package adds a power-adjustable steering column, power tailgate, 18-inch wheels, sun roof, heated and ventilated front seats, auto-dimming side mirrors, blind spot monitor and rear-to-bottom cross-traffic alarm.

A luxury package brings a 10.3-inch infotainment screen and a tail-rail traffic brake, and an executive package gets heated rear seats, head-up display, wireless smartphone charging and a speakerphone. The F-Sport trim strips are based on an appearance package and their standard features lists largely reflect the above.

The new hybrid base model NX 300h has a few extras compared to the entry-level gas model (Sunroof and speakerphone), while premium and executive trims are equipped similar to those used in the power-driven versions. The consumption estimates amount to 10.6/8.5 L/100 km (city/highway) for the NX 300 and 7.2/7.9 in the NX 300h.
