2023 Lexus ES 350 Coming from a light refresh for 2022, the Lexus ES 2023 is expected to be a carryover model.

The ES isn’t the most attractive, powerful, or technologically advanced sedan in its segment, but it remains a comfortable leading choice with a striking design and impressive safety features. These qualities should be brought into the 2023 model.

The ES is currently receiving a light refresh for the 2022 model year. The overall exterior design should remain the same for 2023. The ES has angular headlights with tick-marked daytime running lights, but the sedan’s large spindle grille continues to be its main attraction.

Design elements at the rear are much quieter, with the ES featuring diamond-shaped taillights, large exhaust outlets, and a simple rear spoiler.

Stylish and upscale, the interior of the current ES sedan is no less luxurious than its rivals. As a carryover model, the 2023 ES will have the same overall interior design as the current sedan on sale.

The ES has a spacious interior design, with the center console divided into two sections with the infotainment controls above the controls for the HVAC system.

In one of the more interesting design elements, the ES has controls that sit right above the instrument cluster. While the ES comes with a touchscreen, Lexus continues to offer the ES with a touchpad located to the right of the shift key.

Things are not expected to change much for 2023 ES on the tech front. The sedan should continue to come with an eight-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth, 10 audio speakers, and satellite radio as standard equipment.

Available features will include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, navigation, wireless charging pad, and a 17-speaker audio system.

Lexus is currently offering the ES with three different powertrains. It should stay the same for 2023. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard with this powertrain.

A 3.5-liter V6 engine is available, producing 302 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is only available with front-wheel drive. The ES Hybrid has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and two electric motors for a combined output of 215 hp.

Every ES comes standard with the Lexus’ Safety System+ 2.5 suite featuring pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, lane guard assistance, lane departure warning, rear traffic warning, and traffic alerts.

Cross sign recognition. Available features include a surround-view parking camera and parking sensors.

2023 Lexus ES 350 Review

The 2023 Lexus Es 350 Redesign is like an automotive spa treatment. Its smooth powertrain, quality cab, and flexible suspension all take the stress out of everyday driving tasks.

Now, if you’re looking for the last word in speed and sporty handling, rivals like the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class might be a better choice.

But keep in mind, they also have a starting price that costs thousands of dollars more than the ES.

Since the 2022 model year brings a fairly hefty list of upgrades to the ES lineup, we weren’t expecting anything major to be available for the 2023 variant.

Last year’s updates didn’t just revamp the exterior styling and add more performance hardware to the F Sport model, they finally gave the ES the system. decent infotainment for any other car.

The touchscreen controls are simple and easy to use, and much more user-friendly than the Remote Touch Interface which relies on a touchpad positioned on the center console.

While it’s still on the 2023 ES sedan, the touchscreen (available in 8-inch or 12.3-inch sizes) makes it pretty redundant.

Lexus offers the ES with three powertrain options. The Base ES 250 comes with a 203 horsepower 4 cylinder paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

All-wheel drive is standard with this machine. If you want some extra grip and don’t mind a relaxed performance, you can easily stop here.

Or you might want to consider the ES 350 with its smooth, 302-hp 3.5-liter V6 paired to the same 8-speed automatic.

This engine delivers smooth power in near-total silence and fits perfectly into the ES’s ultra-smooth suspension. One caveat is that the V6 is only available in the front-wheel-drive (FWD).

Last but not least, Lexus has a hybrid version of the ES to tempt value-conscious luxury car buyers. The ES 300h pairs a 4 cylinder engine to an electric motor and a nickel-metal hydride battery.

If the combined 215-hp output doesn’t blow your mind, the EPA estimate of 43/44 mpg city/highway average will do.

You get 13.9 feet of luggage volume. Front and Rear suspensions are Strut and Multi-link, respectively.

Lexus cars come with 19″ x 8″ aluminum-alloy wheels (front and rear). Lexus ES tire sizes are P235/40VR19 for the front and rear. The Lexus ES Co2 emission rate is 15mi per year (7.0 tonnes per year).

2023 Lexus ES 350 AWD

Lexus is currently offering the ES with three different powertrains. It should stay the same for 2023. The standard engine is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is standard with this powertrain.

2023 Lexus ES 350 Price

Look for the Lexus ES 2023 sedan which starts at around $41,000. This is for the ES 250 with a standard 4 cylinder engine and all-wheel drive (AWD).

The added power and performance of the Lexus 350 rings at the same price point as the ES 250, even though it can’t be had with AWD. Unless you need an all-weather grip, we think the ultra-smooth ES 350 is the better luxury car.

Finally, the ES 350h hybrid retails for around $42,000. The extra cash for this model should be quickly offset by the hybrid’s excellent fuel economy.

One bonus is ES’ reputation for exceptional reliability and resale value.

2023 Lexus ES 350 Release Date

As a carryover model, pricing for the Lexus ES 2023 should remain close to the current model. The ES currently ranges from $41,875 (on purpose) to $52,155 for a range-topping hybrid.
